Celebration!

Hello, dear friends! This is Jasmine Choi.

The theme of this year’s festival is “Celebration!” Last year, we brought a little light to Daejeon with “Hanbit,” a name that symbolizes the city. This year, I wanted to turn our attention to celebrating the time we get to spend together — with my friends joining the festival and with all of you.

My friends lead some of the busiest musical lives around the world, and knowing that they are coming all the way to Daejeon to join us fills me with such gratitude — I feel truly blessed! This festival is an opportunity to toast to that joy together. Together, we have created programs filled with music that is full of life. It brings me great joy to share my happiness and these friendships with you.

Now, let me introduce the wonderful artists who will be joining us for this year’s edition, “Celebration!”
